Carnesville, GA and Savannah, TN – Road Tested Parts (“RTP” or the “Company”), a leading value-added distributor of recycled OEM automotive parts to collision and mechanical repair shops, is proud to announce that it has partnered with Raceway Auto and Truck Parts (“Raceway”), further expanding its footprint in the Southeast.
RTP was established in 2021 when Weaver Parts partnered with Incline Equity Partners to acquire like-minded automotive salvage businesses and create an industry leading company. Based in Savannah, TN and founded in 1987 and operated by father and son team Bobby and Gary Coln, Raceway is a regional leader in the recycled parts distribution industry serving customers throughout the Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Kentucky markets. In 2012, Bobby’s son Gary and his wife Amy took the reins, and continued to build on their success to further promote the business to what is has become today. Raceway operates one full-service and one self-service facility co-located in Savannah, TN. Going forward, Gary will continue to lead the business as General Manager of both facilities with the help of his two sons, Parker and Sam.
“We have been impressed by Gary’s ability to grow and build upon the business that his father founded over three decades ago and are excited to bring Gary and his employees under the RTP umbrella” said Bill Westerman, CEO of RTP. “A partnership with Raceway provides many opportunities to better serve our customers by improving our parts offering and bolstering our presence in the Southeast alongside a leading regional operator.”
“Raceway has always been an organization focused on its culture and people,” said Gary Coln. “From the first interaction with RTP, it was clear that the team shared the same values and would be the best home for our business and employees. Joining the RTP team will provide significant growth and development opportunities for our employees, and we are excited to start the next chapter with the RTP team.”
